We’ve all had our share of horrible airport stories. But imagine finding out last minute you need to pay money to leave the country. You think it’s no big deal until you realize that the ATM machines don’t accept Visa. That’s what Natalie Mormer endured when trying to leave Bali at the Denpasar airport.

After several tries Natalie and her friends finally found a machine that took their cards and they happily walk through security, thinking that this is the end of their troubles, so they grab food and water. Knowing their luck, the gate changed. They speed walked across the terminal to the new gate.

Natalie took a sigh of relief until she realized that the disruptive drunken tourist mistaken for hijacker, an incident that made international headlines, is being escorted on your flight. When arriving safely in Australia, she’s held by a customs inspection, threatening her with heavy fines, up to ten years of prison, and deportation for not declaring a bag of rice. Read on to see if her luck changes in Bad Luck in Bali.
