Change is upon us, my friends, and not just because the leaves are turning and it’s getting progressively chillier, but because new albums from our favorite artists are about to drop! Here at Loco Mag, we can’t wait to hear what our fave bands have in store for their new releases. Changes in sound, lineup or just overall feel are to be expected, but we’re barely containing our excitement. Be on the lookout for these new singles & albums!

  • “Lovers’ Eyes” by Mumford & Sons
“Mumford & Sons just released their brand new album, Babel, at the end of September and I have completely fallen in love with it–especially with this song.” – Sammy
  • “Anything Could Happen” by Ellie Goulding
“This is a song off of her recently released album Halcyon. This song is so infectious and upbeat that I cannot stop listening to it as well as the rest of her album!”- Lauren
  • “Raggamuffin” by Selah Sue
“This Belgian singer’s self titled album is just coming off of its release in the US. Selah Sue’s new single is the perfect combination of classic reggae mixed with her Belgian background, and just proves that everything sounds better with an accent.” – Amanda
  • “Dream Song” by Benjamin Gibbard
“Death Cab for Cutie’s leading man, Ben Gibbard, went solo for his new album, Former Lives, which dropped on the 16th. The folk-ish vibes are a definite difference from Death Cab’s hauntingly sad melodies and depressing love-centric lyrics, but it’s still close to perfection. “Dream Song” is my favorite because it’s sweet, simple and gorgeous!” – Bri
  • “The Reckless and the Brave” by All Time Low
“This is the opening track of All Time Low’s recently release Don’t Panic. It screams pop-punk anthem and is the perfect introduction to the album!” – Becky
  • “Hurt So Good” by Carly Rae Jepsen
“As hard as it is to believe any song could be as good as ‘Call Me Maybe’, Jepsen releases this song. Let the parodies begin. ” – Nicole
  • “Crescent-Shaped Depression” by Title Fight
“This is one of my favorite tracks off of their 2011 album Shed. Title Fight is from my homeland of Northeast PA and whenever I hear the lyric “The mountains surrounding/Mark the boundaries you’re not meant to leave,” I always think about the mountains back home around the Scranton area and the gorgeous view from Interstate 81/Casey Highway.” – Danielle
  • “I Will Wait” by Mumford & Sons
“They just released their new album and I’m addicted to this song.” – Megan
  • “Roadway Broken” by State Radio
“After releasing “Circles in the Sun” with Dispatch, Chad Stokes immediately announced he was releasing a new State Radio album on October 22nd. Being one of the most hard-working souls in music, he never fails to produce top quality tracks with reggae, blues and funk influences. All proceeds go towards humanitarian efforts.” – Morgan
  • “Thrift Shop” by Macklemore
“At first I was sort of embarrassed to like this, but after hearing some of the other singles (“Same Love” & “Wings”) I just don’t care anymore–I’m all in on Macklemore. Plus, that sax is fresh.” – Michael
