Going on vacation can be a fun time for the whole family, whether it be a daytrip, a few weeks, or even the whole summer. However, where do you go? There are so many fascinating places to visit not just in the United States but worldwide. Taken from my own personal experience, let’s review some incredible destinations that should definitely be considered for prime vacation spots.

To begin, New York City is perfect if you’re just looking for a daytrip. Having been in the city countless times I can reassure you that you will NOT get bored. Whether it’s walking around Manhattan or Queens there’s all sorts of spectacles in New York. There’s Broadway performances, the Hershey or M&M store, Central Park, Rockefeller Plaza, and so much more. Hungry? Katz’s Deli and Carmine’s are just two of the colossal amounts of eateries NYC has to offer. Trust me, walking around New York City is a perfect way to spend a fun-filled, family day.

Myrtle Beach in South Carolina is another great spot to check out. I’ve vacationed there for at least eight different summers, and each time was more fun than the last. Beautiful condos overlooking the waves, tons of mini-golf and amusement parks around, as well as many seafood restaurants. If you’re into seafood, you can definitely get the best catches of the day down at any of the food spots by the water, including raw oysters on the half-shell, king crab legs, fried shrimp and fresh lobster. The beach itself has plenty of security, and the water is always clear, making swimming or collecting seashells an awesome experience. Most of the condos have access to indoor and outdoor pools if you prefer to stay out of the sand, including lazy rivers to float around in as well. If you want a relaxing beach experience, look no further.

If you’re looking to go international, I heavily suggest looking into Italy. I specifically went to Florence as well as a couple of nearby cities, but the entire country is gorgeous. Authentic Italian cuisine awaits you, such as burrata, fresh tortellini and antipasto salad. Mornings can be spent getting a hot cappuccino and walking along the river’s edge to admire the area’s pretty fauna. If you’re into art, you can visit the Academia and witness the David statue as well as priceless paintings and sculptures. Night life offers exciting dance clubs and karaoke bars, as well as huge family dinners. All in all, it’s a fantastic country to visit, and I highly recommend it to anybody to go and experience it.
