My favorite hobby at the age of five was pretending to burn at the stake Guinevere-style to the 1967 Camelot soundtrack. Although my overactive imagination might have alarmed my parents, they also trained me in the ethics of Peter Pan and The Wind in the Willows before I could sufficiently read. My friends refer to me as the weird girl from the Edwardian period that sings Billie Holiday. While this is flattering, I prefer to think of myself as a writer, singer, and bookworm on the never-ending quest for knowledge. I study English and Women’s Studies at Pennsylvania State University, a perfect excuse for me to dress up as Susan B. Anthony while I enjoy the poetry of Sir Thomas Wyatt.
