Loco Mag is seeking college age writers, photographers, videographers, designers, and interviewers to contribute to our latest issue! Loco is a lifestyle and culture magazine always on the hunt for new articles, photo spreads, and fresh takes on student perspectives. We are not strictly a news publication or a creative writing publication. We want to hear from you. We want your stories in your voice and your words.
Do you ever become so focused on something you don’t seem to notice the rest of the world around you? Do you ever forget to widen your worldview to consider other perspectives? Or do you just really like tunnels? Then Loco Mag’s 57th issue “Tunnel Vision!” might be the perfect place to publish your piece! We are looking for pieces about the phenomenon of tunnel vision (literally and symbolically), or if you want to dissect the theme and submit content about tunnels and/or vision, then we would love to read it!
Our sections include Travel, Lifestyle, AV Room (Audio/Photo/Video), Entertainment, Mood, and Features. Features typically run around 1,500 words. Have more than that? Cool! If not, no worries. We’re an electronic publication so space is unlimited. We’ll accept anything from a 250 word photo spread to a 500 word interview to an hour long podcast to a 2-minute video. Be creative, and tell your truth.
Your work will need to be submitted by Monday, April 12th. You can submit by clicking the “Submit Work” tab at the top of the Loco home page.
