Loco Mag is seeking college-age writers, photographers, videographers, designers, and interviewers to contribute to our latest issue! Loco is a lifestyle and culture magazine always on the hunt for new articles, photo spreads, and fresh takes on student perspectives. We are not strictly a news publication or a creative writing publication. We want to hear from you. We want your stories in your voice and your words.
Issue #70 marks an end of an era. The mag’s co-editors-in-chief, Ryan and Danita, are graduating. We’re moving on to new horizons, so we figured “Final Destination” was a fitting theme for this issue. Here are some keywords to help you think of some content ideas:
Graduation, monster, horror, gore, death, road trip, leaving behind, exams, finale, travel, progress, new beginnings, gas prices, final thoughts, retrospect.
Talk about death or life or moving on, the finale of Lost, traveling to a new location… tell us about it! Not sure if your idea fits? DM us on Instagram @locomag or email us at editor@locomag.com.
Our sections include Travel, Lifestyle, AV Room (Audio/Photo/Video), Entertainment, Mood, and Features. Features typically run around 1,500 words. Have more than that? Cool! If not, no worries. We’re an electronic publication so space is unlimited. We’ll accept anything from a 250-word photo spread to a 500-word interview to an hour-long podcast to a 2-minute video. Be creative, and tell your truth.
