Ms. Janet Jackson’s debut LP, entitled Janet Jackson, was released in 1982.  Later, the LP Rhythm Nation: 1814 released thirty years ago was a great accomplished for the female singer as many of her fans always remember this special LP.  Rhythm Nation: 1814 is an album bringing awareness that education gaining knowledge is important in becoming a well-rounded individual. As a record collector Rhythm Nation: 1814, one of the first records I bought on vinyl back in the late 1980’s still enjoyable as much as the first time. Being a fan of music, Janet Jackson is included in my collection because her singing and dancing is always amazing to watch as she’s as iconic as her brother Michael Jackson. Recently, Ms. Jackson was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, 2019, putting her with other great entertainers of the music industry.

Janet Jackson, singer, dancer, celebrated her famed Rhythm Nation: 1814 while touring “The Black Diamond” around the U.S. beginning in Miami, Florida on June 24, 2019.  Today, Janet is fifty-three years young and going strong because she’s as talented as she first started back in the early 1980’s. Her tour was entitled “The Black Diamond” because it reflects how tough a person and entertainer she has become over the years.   According to website, www.rollingout.com pop artist Janet Jackson has won as many as six grammy awards and dozens of MTV Music Awards, American Music Awards, and of course Billboard Music Awards.  Janet Jackson won her first grammy because of Rhythm Nation: 1814. Many people say when she is performing her shows, Ms. Jackson is electrifying and there’s never a dull moment.  I have not gone to a Janet Jackson concert but I am sure when I decide to go to one of her show-stopping performances I will not be disappointment. Ms. Janet Jackson is in control!
