For those who celebrate, October is the time for Halloween festivities, whether it be with your favorite vampire movies or a big bag of Halloween candy. It’s chilly, and the days have begun to get shorter and shorter. The seasons finally change, and there’s no more time to hang onto summer. For the rest of us, that brings about a feeling that can only be described with the following phrase:

Bite me.

Our 45th issue “Bite Me” comes from both a place of being ready to celebrate the season and a place where the rest of us are saying “Nope! I’m not ready yet.” Either way, we’re all ready to bring some biting new content and commentary to you.

For your reading pleasure, you can find Ben’s ode to the Philadelphia Phillies’s iconic tradition of dollar dog night or Rosa’s journey through orthodontics.

You can take a walk through grief and loss with Allora or find a ranking of the best vampires from Terry. If you prefer to watch, look out for Allie’s video navigating Twilight and middle school flash drives.

You won’t want to miss it, or it might bite you in the butt.
