“Nice” was a long time coming. Ever since I became co-editor-in-chief, my supervisor Michael was counting down the issues until #69. It feels rewarding to have gotten this far, but also bittersweet. There will never be another “Nice.” But maybe the fleeting nature of such an issue makes it all the more beautiful.
Lighthearted memes aside, there are so many great articles in this issue, and there’s something “nice” for everyone. If you need something to watch, check out guest author Vincent’s take on Japanese stop-motion show Pui Pui Molcar, or enjoy the found family of The Last of Us. If you’re looking for some questionable music, Belle takes on the least sexy songs of our generation.
It would be really nice if you checked out this issue – it wasn’t just for laughs, but a labor of love from our hardworking staff.
