This is an interesting period for Loco Mag. Our new co-EIC is settling into his position, and it only now feels like I’m getting into the swing of things after over a year. Being a senior in college, it feels like I’m running out of time while I’m also figuring everything out at the same time. Just as I’m getting the hang of being Editor in Chief, I have to hand off that role to someone else at the end of the year. Maybe they’ll experience the same growing pains I did at the beginning of my tenure, or maybe they’ll have a natural affinity to it. Whatever the case, Loco Mag is always growing and changing every year, and that is reflected in each issue we publish.
I am happy to present issue sixty-six, “Growing Pains.” We’ve had a record number of submissions for this issue, each interpreting the theme differently. Read about Jake’s take on Arcadia’s purchase of Bishop McDevitt High School, Sierra’s childhood photos, and the Loco staff then and now.
We sincerely hope that you enjoy,
Danita, Ryan, and the Loco Mag Staff
