Dance, like any skill, requires practice. There are small, isolated movements that serve as rituals of self-improvement. These “dull” exercises are alive with dedication, diligence, passion, and hope. The girls in this video practice daily to catch up. You see, they began late. They were not ballerinas at the age of two. But with each movement, they are a step closer to overcoming their later beginnings. They overcome their lots in life through their sheer stick-to-it-iveness. And it’s magical.
