Don’t apologize over spilled milk.
This may be the “Sorry, Not Sorry” issue, but it’s okay to be sorry sometimes. It could be an apology for being in someone’s way, an apology to resolve an argument, or just because you’re a serial apologizer. Every now and then, you have to say you’re sorry. The last time I apologized to someone, it was for accidentally knocking a bowl out of their hand while walking past them (it was mortifying).
Here are some of the reasons people have recently said sorry:
I don’t think this is something to be sorry about, but I guess context is everything.
A man who loves his wife and son and just wants to be good to them. How pure and sweet.
Probably messing up his sleep schedule. Oh, the things we do for the ones we love.
Such a busy bee, but it be like that sometimes. At least they didn’t fully ghost someone.
Whatever the reason, sometimes you have to say you’re sorry. That’s just the way life goes. But don’t forget, there are also times when you shouldn’t apologize. #SorryNotSorry.
