Loco Mag is seeking college age writers, photographers, videographers, designers, and interviewers to contribute to our latest issue! Loco is a lifestyle and culture magazine always on the hunt for new articles, photospreads, and fresh takes on student perspectives. We are not strictly a news publication or a creative writing publication. We want to hear from you. We want your stories in your voice and your words.

We’re back, and our newest issue is an unapologetic one: Sorry, Not Sorry. What are your most unpopular opinions? Maybe you’ve been to 10 Steely Dan concerts, or you were Team Jacob in high school. Tell us about your guilty pleasures. Tell us why you aren’t sorry. Maybe tell us why you are sorry. Did you wrong someone back in 3rd grade and want to take the chance to apologize now? Whatever it is, we want to hear what you have to say!

Our sections include Travel, Lifestyle, AV Room (Audio/Photo/Video), Entertainment, Mood, and Features. Features typically run around 1,500 words. Have more than that? Cool! If not, no worries. We’re an electronic publication so space is unlimited. We’ll accept anything from a 250 word photo spread to a 500 word interview to an hour long podcast to a 2-minute video. Be creative, and tell your truth.

Your work will need to be submitted by Monday, September 23rd. You can submit by clicking the “Submit Work” tab at the top of the Loco home page.
Questions? Send them over to editor@locomag.com. Make sure to follow us on Twitter @locomag as well as the rest of our social media for updates and announcements, and we can’t wait to hear from you!
