Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, boy oh boy do we have an issue for you.
Last month, we issued you a challenge: write about anything, but with a title that completes the “roses are red” rhyme. I don’t think any of us realized the Pandora’s Box we opened with that – but it was filled with some of the funniest, strangest articles we’ve seen.
In this month’s issue, we have delights such as: Austin’s passionate defense of cinnamon-flavored candies, Paulie’s ode to the Ticonderoga #2 pencil, and Dawn’s chronicle of zombie films in the U.S. since the 1950s.
Here to help you have some more down-to-earth fun are Savannah and Felicia, who shared some travel inspiration, as well as a guide to starting a Galentine’s tradition this February.
On the more serious side of things, Kate issues a tribute to poet Mary Oliver, Bella discusses moving on from a long-term relationship during the Valentines season, and Terry shares some much-needed advice on how to revive your deceased wallet.
No matter which genre of article you need most, with the variety we have this round, we hope you’ll find it here.
