April in college often defines itself through tightly-packed schedules and endless deadlines. Beyond our experiences, though, there’s a lot to like about the month. Finally the weather is starting to warm up, the trees start being trees again, and then there’s the rain – which if you’re anything like me or Gene Kelly, is a great thing.

Singing in the Shower is inspired by the feeling you have when doing just that. Carefree, happy, and maybe a little too confident. If we’re getting philosophical with it (which we always do), it can also be about renewal.

Following this feeling are articles like Katie’s about the end of Seasonal Affective Disorder as the days get longer, Nik’s article about rock climbing for the first time, and Samantha’s profile of a young musician.

Being our last issue until September, we’re also featuring some heavy-hitters this time around. Lana strings together all of the pieces of the Paul McCartney conspiracy theory and Katie reports on the environmental initiatives at Arcadia University.

As always, if you’re looking to listen instead of read, this month we have the last official installment of the ForLoco podcast, featuring our very own advisor and world-class ice cream-maker, Michael Dwyer. If you have any opinions about breakfast, you really don’t want to miss this one.
