Oooooooh. It’s that time of year again … Halloween! October is the month to flaunt your spookiest, most spine-chilling, bone-rattling, heart-pitter-pattering (okay you get the idea) costume in preparation for a mischievous night of candy stockpiling and trickery. But what do you do when you’re too old to go trick-or-treating, too bored with giving out candy, or just plain don’t feel like putting together a last minute ensemble? Why, force your friends and family to accompany you to a haunted house of course! And what better place to go then the Nightmares Fear Factory in Niagara Falls.
Known as “the scariest haunted house in Ontario”, this 2-spooky-4-you haunted house has quickly become famous for their Flickr photostream, which features groups of patrons getting the pants scared off of them as a hidden camera captures their hilarious expressions of pure terror. The pictures are so wildly funny, in fact, that many Internet users have begun adding text to them and using them as reaction images on websites like Tumblr.
It’s hard to resist putting a caption to these photos when you’re trying to figure out what the heck it is exactly that they’re looking at. Here’s a list of some of the best snapshots from over the years with only the most appropriate subtitles:
