The Castle Terrace

You enter out onto one of Fonthill castle’s seven terraces which overlooks the back of the property (Yes, seven. Henry Mercer quite enjoyed sitting or eating outside on a nice day. Imagine, you could eat outside on a different fancy terrace every day of the week!). Luckily, the weather is nice today, making it easy to look out over the wooded property and feel the breeze on your face. It’s a nice spot to stand and ponder. Maybe you spend some time daydreaming—or considering how unfair it is that one man managed to build himself a castle by making pretty tiles all day when your future college-degree-funded career will likely just barely cover your student debt and other living expenses—either way the view is a beautiful one at that moment.
