Your choice brings you to the Mercer Museum research library. The library is a fully functioning research center for Bucks County history, but if you’re not into that kind of thing it is a really nice spot to sit for a while. The dark and tiled aesthetic matches that of Henry Mercer’s personal home (Fonthill castle) and houses many old books that you may find yourself looking through during your visit. Some of the titles strike you as odd and intriguing: The Cheese and the Worms, The History of ‘Punch’, and Life in Utah or the Mysteries or Mormonism and Polygamy are just a few you encounter.
