“Final Destination” is a bittersweet, and fitting issue to end Ryan and I’s tenure at Loco Mag, and at Arcadia University. I’ve been here at Loco Mag since the very beginning of my college career, as a very scared freshman coming from being homeschooled since 7th grade. I didn’t think I’d ever be where I am now – more confident, capable, and having fostered a community of great people. I started as co-editor in chief two years ago, and I know this is a cliche, but time flies by so fast. I see so much potential in next semester’s staff and hope you, reader, will stick around for the ride.

We’re proud to announce Jewel and Jake as the new Editors-In-Chief of Loco Mag. They’re amazing friends that we’ve loved watching grow into the leaders they are today. Over their time on staff, they’ve contributed so much to the magazine. As Print Edition Director, Jewel has already planned and produced two of the best print issues of the magazine that we’ve ever seen. And Jake, as Loco Mag’s Copyeditor, has collected our submissions and organized everything for the staff to edit, post, and enjoy. Without both of them, the magazine wouldn’t be nearly as special as it is now!

With all of that sentiment in mind, we’re thrilled to reveal the seventieth issue, “Final Destination!” Within it you’ll find Klaudia’s reactions to EVERY SINGLE Taylor Swift album, Jake’s reflections on the big question of what the future might hold, Dakota’s traumatic memories of the Final Destination series, and Sierra’s less than savory travel experience. Enjoy!

See you on the other side,

Ryan, Danita, and the Loco Mag Staff
