If you’ve been online for any period of time, you’re probably no stranger to weird things. You know what we mean: one minute you’re Googling how big stop signs are, then you’re looking up three hours later to find you’ve gone down rabbit holes about conspiracy theories, videos solely about submechanophobia, forums of dissolving discourse you have no hand in, etc. etc. etc…

Life is weird right now. We’re all in the Twilight Zone between normalcy and another wave of the pandemic. To embrace the strangeness, we’ve decided to come together and publish a rare August issue where we detail our own online rabbit holes. Scroll through and enjoy Ryan regaling us with play-by-plays of Wallace and Gromit’s felonies, Belle telling us about Tumblr Sexymen, Julie discussing the trend of the internet aiming to scare children, and Danita talking about relating to fictional characters.

So strap in, because for our fifty-eighth issue Locomag presents: Weird Internet.

Sincerely,

Belle, Ryan, Danita, and Julie
