These photographs are taken in the last quarter of a game or match, either by time or structure. They represent a range of emotions and outcomes that happen in sports, and how student-athletes process those emotions. The fourth quarter of any sporting event is always the most intense because it is the end, it is suspenseful. This is where games are won and lost, where mistakes are costly and mercy is not shown. The final nail in the coffin is beaten in here, and upsets come from nowhere to surprise you. Hearts are broken and memories are made here.
