SECRETS TO LONGEVITY ON EARTH

The secrets of a long life are vastly different from person to person.  I feel to have longevity in one’s life, you need to be able to be clean and healthy.  Eating the right food with proper nutrition and getting vitamin C every day by consuming fruits along with vegetables.  Nowadays, life expectancy among American people has somewhat gone up. Today it’s said that there are 70,000 Americans that reach the age of one hundred (100) or over.  Generally, Americans and people around the world have their own theories on how to age properly. Aging is not a disease; people should view their age just as a number. A secret to a long life is difficult sometimes, because you’re taught to do the right thing and be moral.

For some people, eating certain foods like a piece of chocolate or drinking garlic milk or even green vegetables everyday gives a person a healthy long life.  Basically, poisoning your body or constantly eating bad nutritional foods like junk food shortens your life. Smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol and taking bad drugs also shorten one’s life.  To reach old age, the demands have to be taken very seriously. Think of it this way: as humans we understand death will happen, but we don’t know how or why. The secret of a long life is having a positive attitude throughout and making sure we are doing the best we can do.

Erica Cook, an author of a few books says, “I’m not interested in competing with anyone I hope we all make it.”  I think humans need to have meaning to their lives and we should know what inspires us. The question we ask ourselves: “if we have five years to live, what would we die for?”  It’s important for us to be productive and stay active by exercising or walking every day to keep a healthy natural heart. Collectively, we all need to live together to make a clean environment and respond to nature and protect our planet Earth.
